How To Clean The Sintered Felt Filter Element

Sintered felt filter cartridge is an indispensable component in the filtration industry, especially in heavy-duty applications that require high temperature resistance, high pressure capability, and excellent filtration efficiency. Although sintered felt filter cartridges have excellent filtration capabilities, regular maintenance is required to maintain optimal performance and extend their service life.

The cleaning methods for sintered felt filter cartridges mainly include the following:
1. Chemical cleaning method:
Soak the filter element in a specific chemical solvent and assist with ultrasonic treatment. Suitable for situations where the filter element is attached with difficult to clean oil stains or corrosive substances. Choose an appropriate cleaning agent, soak the filter element in the cleaning agent, and after a period of time, rinse it clean with clean water.

2. Physical cleaning method:
(1) Pressure cleaning technology (backwashing): using inert gas (such as nitrogen) or liquid to backwash the filter in reverse. Suitable for metal filter cartridges.
(2) Ultrasonic cleaning technology: Depending on the degree of contamination and filtration accuracy of the filter element, different energy density cleaning methods can be selected. For metal sintered filter cartridges, high-energy composite ultrasonic cleaning is usually used.

3. Ultrasonic cleaning method:
By utilizing the vibration effect of ultrasound, the dirt on the surface of the filter element can be quickly separated and cleaned. Suitable for metal sintered filter cartridges, usually cleaned using high-energy composite ultrasonic waves.

4. Mechanical cleaning method:
Remove the filter element, soak it in water or detergent, then gently brush the dirt on the surface of the filter element with a soft bristled brush, and finally rinse it off with clean water. Suitable for general dirt removal.

5. Heat treatment cleaning method:
Cleaning is carried out through methods such as vacuum pyrolysis, heating furnace, liquefaction bed, and hot salt bath. Suitable for situations where chemical cleaning methods are ineffective.
