What is a coalescing filter element?

The coalescing filter element is specially treated glass fiber and other coalescing materials as the medium. It can coalesce the tiny water droplets dispersed in the turbine oil into larger water droplets. The coalesced water droplets are affected by gravity and the flow direction of the oil. Under the action of the impact force, it settles to the lower water tank and is discharged by the drain valve. The separation filter element is composed of a special chemically treated stainless steel mesh. It has good lipophilic and hydrophobic properties, allowing oil to pass smoothly, and effectively preventing water droplets from passing through, achieving an effective dehydration effect. The coalescing separation filter element is not severely damaged by physical or chemical damage, and it can be used for a long time without replacement, thus greatly reducing operating costs.
