Structural principle of the string wound filter element

Feb 22, 2021

What is the structural principle of the string wound filter element?

The string wound water filter core is made of polypropylene (PP) textile fiber roving, different line arrangement procedures are set according to specific density to form filter holes, which are precisely wound on the porous polypropylene (PP) framework.

The string wound filter element product has high filtration pressure, large filtration aperture outside and small filtration aperture inside. It has excellent deep filtration effect and can effectively remove suspended solids and particles in liquid.

The string wound filter core is also called cotton core. The string wound filter core is mainly wound on the stainless steel porous framework with textile fiber to filter and remove the impurity particles in the fluid;

Generally, it is suitable for filtration with low viscosity and low impurities. Compared with general purification equipment, it is a kind of deep filtration.

The service life of the string wound filter element is relatively long. It can effectively remove suspended solids, rust and other impurities in the liquid in the process of water treatment;

The string wound filter core is mostly used for water treatment of domestic water, electroplating plant and coating plant. Widely used in RO (reverse osmosis), NF (nanofiltration), UF (ultrafiltration), EDI (electrodialysis) system pretreatment.
