Introduction of Self-cleaning Filters

Working principle:

Water enters the filter through the inlet, first filtering out larger impurities through the coarse filter element component, and then reaching the fine filter screen. After filtering out small impurities through the fine filter screen, clean water is discharged from the outlet.

During the filtration process, impurities in the inner layer of the fine filter gradually accumulate, forming a pressure difference on both sides. When the pressure difference reaches the preset value, the automatic cleaning process will begin: the drain valve opens, the hydraulic motor chamber and hydraulic cylinder of the main component release pressure and discharge water; The pressure inside the hydraulic motor room and the suction pipe drops significantly. Due to negative pressure, the dirt on the inner wall of the fine filter screen is sucked through the suction nozzle, which flows into the hydraulic motor room through the hydraulic motor and is discharged by the discharge valve, forming a suction process. When the water flows through the hydraulic motor, it drives the suction pipe to rotate, and the hydraulic cylinder piston drives the suction pipe to move axially. The suction device component completely cleans the entire inner surface of the filter through the combination of axial and rotational movements. The entire cleaning process will last for tens of seconds. The drain valve is closed at the end of cleaning, and the increased water pressure will cause the hydraulic cylinder piston to return to its initial position, and the filter will start preparing for the next flushing cycle. During the cleaning process, the filter operates continuously without interruption.

The principle of automatic backwashing: As mentioned earlier, backwashing is achieved by opening the hydraulic valve and the action of the hydraulic cylinder piston, which are all controlled by the backwashing controller. The backwash controller can accurately control the hydraulic valve and hydraulic cylinder based on the pressure difference transmitted from the inlet and outlet of the filter, and the power of the controller comes from the pressure of the pipeline itself.

Self cleaning filter characteristics: uninterrupted water supply during backwashing, and the entire backwashing is achieved by cleaning every point of the filter with a suction nozzle. During backwashing, only a small local pressure change occurs between the suction nozzle and the fine filter screen, and the action of the collector and hydraulic cylinder does not affect normal water supply. At the same time, the amount of water consumed during backwashing is very small. Taking a filter with a flow rate of 300m3/h. as an example, its backwashing flow rate is 35-40m3/h, backwashing time is 7-15 seconds, and backwashing water volume is 80-160L

Note:

1. Self cleaning filters can only be used according to the rated voltage/frequency indicated on the nameplate.

2. The filter should be maintained periodically. Before cleaning and maintenance, please make sure to disconnect the power supply of the self-cleaning filter.

3. Please ensure that the wire plug does not get wet during cleaning, otherwise it must be wiped dry before reconnecting the power.

4. Do not unplug the power cord with wet hands.

5. Self cleaning filters are only suitable for use in indoor aquariums.

If the filter is damaged, especially when the power cord is damaged, it cannot be used.

7. Please ensure that the self-cleaning filter operates at the correct water level, and the filter cannot be used without water.

8. Do not disassemble or repair without authorization to avoid danger or damage to the body. Maintenance should be carried out by professionals
