Comparison of Filtration Effects Between PP Cotton Filter And Foldable Filter

The foldable microporous filter element is a precision filtering device made of polypropylene (Polypropylene) thermal sprayed fiber membrane, nylon (Nylonb) polytetrafluoroethylene (PTEE) microporous filter membrane, and other filtering media. It has the advantages of small volume, large filtering area, and high accuracy. The filtering accuracy range can be from 0.1 μ M to 60 μ M. The sealing of the filter end cover and the overall structural connection are all made using hot melt bonding. There are three types of filter element connectors commonly used internationally: 222 connector, 226 connector, and flat mouth.

 

PP filter element, also known as PP melt blown filter element, is made of polypropylene ultrafine fibers that are hot melt entangled. The fibers randomly form a three-dimensional microporous structure in space, and the pore size of the micropores is distributed in a gradient along the flow direction of the filtrate. It integrates surface, deep layer, and precision filtration, and can intercept impurities of different particle sizes. Filter element accuracy range 0.5-100 μ m. Its flux is more than 1.5 times that of the same precision peak room filter element, and different models of end cover connectors can be configured to meet the needs of various engineering installations.

 

In summary, the foldable filter element belongs to surface filtration, while the PP cotton filter element belongs to deep filtration. The materials used for both are the same, but from a structural perspective, the effective interception rate of the foldable filter element can reach over 95%. The filtering effect is mainly judged based on the material of the filter membrane used. Each has its own advantages, and a reasonable selection can be made according to the actual situation
