Production Process
1. Raw material selection and preparation
The first task in producing sintered filter elements is to carefully select raw materials, including metal powder, binder and pore former. Metal powder constitutes the skeleton of the filter element, binder ensures the close bonding between powders, and pore former is used to form the pore structure inside the filter element, thereby improving its filtration efficiency.
2. Raw material mixing and particle size adjustment
After the raw materials are selected, they need to be mixed and granulated. This step aims to achieve uniform mixing of raw materials and form them into a granular state suitable for pressing and molding through granulation technology. During the mixing process, the proportion control of each raw material is crucial and directly affects the performance of the final product.
3. Pressing filter element blank
The mixed and granulated raw materials will be sent to the pressing machine for pressing and molding. This step is the core link of sintered filter element production. By accurately controlling key parameters such as pressure, temperature and time, a filter element blank with a specific shape and initial strength is formed.
4. High-temperature sintering treatment
The pressed filter element blank is then sent to the sintering furnace for high-temperature sintering treatment. During the sintering process, the metal powder fuses at high temperature under the action of the binder, significantly improving the overall strength and stability of the filter element. The precise control of sintering temperature and time has a decisive influence on the quality of the filter element.
5. Subsequent processing and inspection of the filter element
After sintering, the filter element needs to undergo subsequent processing steps such as cleaning and drying to remove surface impurities and internal residual moisture. Finally, through a strict quality inspection process, it is ensured that each sintered filter element meets the established quality standards, thereby ensuring its excellent performance in practical applications.
