However, choosing the wrong model or improper maintenance can not only affect filtration performance but also potentially damage the equipment. Choosing the right bag filter requires a comprehensive consideration of filtration requirements, operating conditions, and cost-effectiveness.

1. Identify Core Filtration Parameters

Filtration accuracy: Select the filter bag pore size based on the particle size of impurities in the liquid. For example, chemical raw material purification requires high-precision filtration of 1-5 microns; domestic water pretreatment requires coarse filtration of 20-50 microns.

Flow rate requirement: Calculate the volume of liquid to be filtered per unit time. For small-scale laboratories or household water, a single bag filter (flow rate <10 m³/h) is recommended; for large-scale industrial production (such as electroplating wastewater treatment), a multi-bag filter (flow rate exceeding 100 m³/h) is required.

Retention efficiency: Focus on the filter bag's ability to retain target impurities. For example, the pharmaceutical industry requires retention of at least 99% of particles, requiring a high-retention filter media.

2. Match the application scenario and working conditions

Material Compatibility:

Corrosive liquids (such as acid and alkali solutions, seawater): Choose 316L stainless steel for its strong corrosion resistance.

High-temperature and high-pressure environments (such as oil refining): Choose high-temperature-resistant, high-strength materials to ensure safe equipment operation.

Installation Space: If workshop space is limited, a compact single-bag filter is preferred. If space is sufficient and flow requirements are high, consider a multi-bag solution in parallel.

3. Overall Cost and Long-Term Benefits

Initial Investment: Single-bag systems are low-cost but have limited processing capacity; multi-bag systems are more expensive but suitable for large-scale continuous production.

Operating Cost: High-precision filter bags are expensive but have a long replacement cycle; low-precision filter bags are cheaper but require frequent replacement. A balance should be considered between budget and frequency of use.

Maintenance Ease: Prefer models with simple structures and easy filter bag replacement to reduce labor and time costs.
